Preparation
Students take on roles as delegates representing states of the United Nations obeying their official policies related to the issues discussed. Their main task is to develop new and original solutions to the serious global problems by means of negotiations in various committees, fully respecting the parliamentary procedure. Major results of the sessions are resolutions consisting of motions adopted by the delegates.
Study Guides
To help delegates our Chairpersons will prepare Study Guides for each Committee that will include basic information and external links concerning the issue in order to stress the most important points. Delegates are required to read all provided materials properly so that they can make their own research of the topic.
Policy Statements
All delegates will be asked to write a Policy Statement (both for the Committee and General Assembly) defending their countries’ positions towards the issue.
Well prepared Policy Statement is essential for successful participation at the Conference.
